The Lord Will Always Provide A Way

"The Lord will always provide a way" this is something that we have been seeing more and more of this past year.  So much has happened in what seems like only a few weeks.  In February we awaited to hear whether Jason had got into BYU or not.  His application had been submitted in October and we were more than anxious to hear the answer.  We have been praying for a better opportunity, a chance to change our lives.  Jason of course was working his best to provide that by going to school full time and working full time.   As we waited we prayed-we prayed for understanding, for information to lead us to our next chapter.  Let me just say we knew from the moment we bought the house and agreed to live here for the next three years that we would only be here the next three years.  We knew that this was only a temporary place.  When we received the news that Jason got in we were so excited.  This was the beginning of our future and we knew that we were ready for the next chapter-the Lord had given us an answer.

We had planned a vacation down to Utah in March for our Spring Break so that we could tour the campus and look around the area.  I will never forget the moment we pulled up to BYU and I started to cry.  We were going to move here and we were going to provide a better life for our children. I could see our dreams coming true in that moment and I was brought to tears by it.  While we were in Utah Jason had a job interview and it went really well.  Within two hours they had called and said they wanted him for the job and to start on the 17th of April.  We knew our friends were heading out of the state for a job and so we asked if they had found renters for their home.  They had not and it was a perfect fit.  We now had a job and home for the summer.
When we got back to Washington everything has been rushed.  Packing, saying goodbyes, and figuring out what we are going to do with our house.  We decided that we would start looking for renters and the thought occurred to me to ask our friend Maegan and her boyfriend David.  We had known that they were looking for a place to rent and so we sent them a message. They looked at the house and decided to rent it.
If I have learned anything it is that the Lord hears us.  I have told so many of our friends family how perfectly happened and they have all said the same thing, "When it is right everything will fall into place".  It is true.  The Lord wants the best for us and he has provided us with that opportunity.  We have prayed about this over and over again and we know this is the answer.  This will give Jason the education he has always wanted this will make his dreams come true.  That is the most important thing to me- that he makes his dreams come true and we will go anywhere in the world to make it possible.  Our lives are changing for the better and I hope everyone knows that.  This decision was not made lightly but it was made for the better.  The better good-I can't wait for this adventure for this new life that is awaiting us. The Lord will always provide a way and we know that this is the way we were meant to go.
We love Othello.  We have family here.  We have friends here.  Most of all we had our children here.  This home represents so much more than just our first place.  It is where we brought home our two babies and it is where we came home as a married couple for the first time.  Leaving Othello is bittersweet.  We are leaving behind our family who loves us and our children very much.  Our ward family has done nothing but shower us with love and support which we are very grateful for because without it, this would be so much harder.  Othello will always be a piece of home but this chapter has closed.
